Yorke & Sons Dumpster Rental started with one truck, one trailer, and a simple frustration with how the roll-off industry usually works — vague quotes, surprise fees, and drivers who show up without knowing the neighborhood. We built our business out of West Manchester Township on Loucks Road with a different approach: flat-rate pricing quoted up front, and a crew that actually knows the streets, driveways, and permit rules across York County.
Since 2018, that approach has grown our fleet and our service area, but it hasn’t changed how we operate. We’re still locally owned, still based on Loucks Road just west of the City of York, and still run by a team that treats every delivery — whether it’s a homeowner’s garage cleanout or a contractor’s new-construction site — like it matters.
We don’t outsource our dispatch, we don’t hide fees in the fine print, and we don’t send a driver to your address who doesn’t know whether it’s in a permit zone. That’s the whole model.

How We Work
Every rental starts with a real conversation about your project — what you’re clearing out, how much debris you expect, and where the container needs to sit. From there we quote a flat rate that covers delivery, pickup, and the weight allowance for that size, so there’s no math to do later. We schedule deliveries around your timeline, not ours, and we’re upfront if a project needs a bigger box or a permit before we ever load the trailer.
Our Fleet
We run 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard roll-off containers out of our West Manchester Township yard, which means we can match the size to the job instead of pushing whatever’s convenient. Our trucks and trailers are maintained for tight residential driveways as much as open commercial lots, and our drivers are trained to protect driveways and lawns on every drop and pickup.
Our Commitment
We’re licensed and insured, and we take Pennsylvania’s waste rules seriously — from the PA DEP’s Covered Device Recycling Act for electronics to standard prohibited-item limits on things like paint, fuel, and refrigerant-holding appliances. If a job needs a specific permit from a borough, township, or PennDOT, we’ll tell you before delivery day, not after a ticket shows up.
What we stand for
Six things we do not compromise on
Straightforward Pricing
We quote a flat rate before delivery, covering the container, delivery, pickup, and included weight allowance — no surprise line items on the back end.
Local Knowledge
We know the difference between a City of York street permit and a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit, and which of York County’s 72 municipalities we’re delivering into on any given day.
Reliable Scheduling
We show up when we say we will, and we communicate ahead of time if a delivery or pickup window needs to shift.
Driveway Protection
Our drivers are trained to place containers carefully, protecting driveways, curbs, and lawns on every drop and every pickup.
Honest Sizing
We’d rather recommend the right size — even if it’s smaller and cheaper — than oversell you a container you don’t need.
Licensed & Insured
We operate fully licensed and insured, and we follow Pennsylvania’s waste and recycling regulations on every job.
In the community
Part of York, not just working in it
York isn’t just where we work — it’s where we’re from. This is the first town laid out west of the Susquehanna River, founded in 1741, and the place where the Continental Congress met from September 1777 to June 1778 after fleeing British-occupied Philadelphia — York, the First Capital, is a title this county still carries with pride. It’s also where the first American coal-burning locomotive was built in 1832. Across York County’s 72 municipalities — one city, 36 boroughs, and 35 townships — and roughly 50,000 acres of preserved farmland, we’ve delivered dumpsters to nearly every kind of property this county has: rowhomes in the city, farmhouses in the townships, and everything in between.
